Structured programs to suit your level and goals
Enjoy learning guitar with individualized lessons focused on enjoyment and musical expression. As well as songs, styles and technique, I enjoy teaching songwriting, music theory, improvising, sight reading (though it’s by no means a requirement for being a musician) – if it’s relevant to you I’ll build it into your lessons.
Pass grade exams
…but only if you’d like to! I’ve guided students through exams with Trinity, ABRSM, Rockschool and LCM exam boards. Video exams can be recorded from my home studio if required. Either way, I have a good library of teaching materials and can suggest some great guitar books and resources for you.

I plan your lessons with music at the right level for you to see improvement. Good relationships are at the core of successful teaching, and I’ll always do my best to make the lessons fun, engaging and interesting. I’ll help you to build your confidence and above all to enjoy playing music.
I teach all ages, I’m CRB checked, and have public liability insurance.
Online guitar lessons
As well as in person lessons, I’m currently teaching online via zoom. The beauty of online lessons is that you can learn from home without having to travel, but you get the benefit of an experienced teacher who can answer your questions in real time and give you instant feedback.
